Michelle Cota  Dear Power Ranch Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I get to become a member of the Power Ranch community. I am truly honored to be selected to this position and am looking forward to assisting Mr. Reuter to positively impact every student’s performance and school experience.

I am originally from Texas and I have lived in Arizona with my husband and daughter for the past 17 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at El Paso and my master’s degree from Northern Arizona University. I have been an educator for 23 years in several different capacities: a classroom teacher, Dean of Students and an Instructional Coach. Deciding to become an administrator came from a strong desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community, as well as the desire to build the capacity of teachers and students.

Parents, teachers, support staff, community and administration all play a part in helping our students meet and exceed the expectations we have for them. I am looking forward to the opportunity to get to know you and I am looking forward to a happy and productive school year. You will find that my door is always open and I am always here to support you in any possible way.

Michelle Cota
Assistant Principal
