The Career Center advertises college visits via  the Higley Knight Express, school website, daily announcements, Friday video and the Career Center bulletin board.
Scholarships are listed and updated continuously in the student Naviance Program.  (visit the Naviance tab for log-in instructions).
Students are encouraged to visit the Center before or after school and/or during their lunch hour to receive assistance.
The Career Center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

FASFA (Free Application for Financial Student Aid): There are changes for the upcoming applications. This year, you will be able to apply for financial aid October 1st instead of waiting for January. Both parent and student must create an electronic signature (FSA ID number) in order to sign the online form. This is a quick process and will save you time later.

• Start looking for those scholarships now!
• Pay attention to the "College Visits" board in the Career Center, on Naviance and via this website.
• Community Service/Volunteer Hours.....make sure you are documenting your hours!
• Now's the time to start your college exploration...sign up for upcoming College Visits in the Career Center.
• Mark your calendars for ACT and SAT test dates, tutoring, etc.
• Work on those Volunteer Hours....log them on a spreadsheet (available in the Career Center).
• If necessary, improve your grades for college entry and scholarships...this is your LAST chance!
All Underclassman
• Scholarships are available for all grade levels!  Go to your Naviance account to research them. Any questions about them, please see Mrs. Smith.
